The primary means of communication within the Village is by email, so it is important that you inform the Village Management immediately of any changes to your email address. General notices will also be posted on the Village website, and around the Village.
Snail mail – Mail will be delivered to the Administration Office and will then be sorted into the mail boxes in the Computer Room alphabetically under your surname.
Residents wishing to receive mail should use the following address:

Note: mail not addressed in this way will be returned to sender.
When parcels are delivered by Australia Post, they will be kept at the Administration office and a note will be placed in the appropriate mail box, sorted alphabetically indicating that you have a parcel for collection. You will be required to acknowledge collection of parcels.
Neither the Village nor any of its representatives will sign for any courier or non-Australia Post deliveries on your behalf, except in exceptional circumstances where you have authorised us in writing to do so.
It is a resident's responsibility to regularly check their mail box. Any mail not collected within one month of its delivery may be returned to sender.
When you leave the Village you need to provide your new address to the Administration Office, there is provision for this on your departure checklist. We will redirect mail for one month after your departure with no charge. After this one month period you can request to extend this redirection at a cost of 1extra month $8, 2 extra months $15 or 3 extra months $20. Payment for this will need to made prior to your departure from the Village. If you have any questions please speak to the staff in the Office.
Facilities for purchasing stamps and posting letters and parcels are available from the Post Office located at the Ashmore City Shopping Centre, Corner Currumbarra Road and Nerang Road. A red post box is also on the Griffith University campus. Standard letters which have the postage stamp on them can be left at the Office for the mailman to collect.
For Residents leaving at the end of the semester/end of the year and wishing to send items back home please contact Australia Post as they have many options that may save you money.
