Terms and Conditions of Application for Accommodation at Griffith University Village

By submitting an application for accommodation at Griffith University Village you will be taken to have given the following acknowledgements to Griffith University Village and accepted the following conditions.

  1. Griffith University Village has made no offer of accommodation at the Village to you.
  2. Griffith University Village has absolute discretion to decide whether or not to approve your application and offer you accommodation at the Village.
  3. Despite any preference which you have indicated in your application, Griffith University Village has absolute discretion to determine the type of accommodation at the Village which might be offered to you.
  4. Griffith University Village gives no guarantee and makes no representation or warranty that your application will be approved or, if approved, that any particular type of accommodation will be offered to you.
  5. Any offer of accommodation made to you will be subject to the terms specified in the offer. The terms of that offer may differ from the information contained on this website or other information provided by or on behalf of Griffith University Village.
  6. If your application is declined or the accommodation offered to you differs from the preference which you have expressed in your application, Griffith University Village will not be under any obligation to provide any reason for declining to offer you accommodation at the Village or the accommodation which you have indicated that you prefer.
  7. The Application Fee of $60 payable with your application is not refundable, whether or not your application is declined or any offer of accommodation made to you is accepted or declined by you.
  8. The Enrolment Fee of $115 payable with your application will be refunded only if your application is declined by Griffith University Village or you decline or fail to accept any offer of accommodation within the time specified in the offer.
  9. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Griffith University Village and their employees from all liability, loss, damage, expense and claim of any nature whatsoever which you might suffer, sustain or maintain arising out of or in connection with:
    • your application and the consideration, processing (including any failure, error or delay in processing), acceptance or rejection of it by or on behalf of Griffith University Village;
    • the terms of any offer made by Griffith University Village in response to your application; or
    • your use of the facilities on this website to apply to Griffith University Village for accommodation and to make payments to Griffith University Village
